Hotel Floor Man

A hotel floor attendant is a job in the housekeeping department of a hotel, responsible for cleaning hallways and hotel floors. Some of the skills required for a hotel floor attendant include communication skills, etiquette, problem-solving, and time management. They should be familiar with hotel industry standards and safety. In addition to maintaining cleanliness in hallways, hotel floor attendants are also responsible for cleaning elevators, checking trash bins, handling guests’ soiled clothes or items, and managing hallway lighting or related matters. Hotels typically employ several service staff members, including:
• Housekeepers:Individuals responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Concierges:Individuals responsible for building maintenance, equipment, and hotel supplies.
• Waitstaff: Individuals responsible for providing food and beverage services to hotel guests.
