Hotel Bellboy / Bellhop

A bellboy is a hotel employee responsible for carrying luggage, packages, and guest orders, opening and closing doors, and providing other services. Bellboys usually wear formal attire and a small hat, and they work in large and luxurious hotels. Bellboys must interact with guests skillfully and promptly, treating them with respect. Some of the duties and responsibilities of a bellboy include:
• Welcoming guests at the main hotel entrance and providing appropriate greetings.
• Assisting guests with their luggage to their rooms and explaining hotel amenities.
• Helping guests with the delivery and retrieval of luggage, letters, messages, and packages.
• Assisting guests with parking their vehicles.
• Safeguarding and registering guests’ luggage in a designated room.
• Offering recommendations to guests regarding restaurant operating hours and other hotel facilities.
• Providing information to guests about nearby tourist and cultural attractions.
