Three-star hotels offer more services and amenities than two-star hotels. Some of the criteria for three-star hotels include:
• Having a common sitting room with a capacity of at least one-third of the total number of guests is mandatory.
• Optional amenities include having a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, or a gym.
• Having a television in the lobby and also one in each room is mandatory.
• Having a parking area with a capacity of at least one-fourth of the total number of rooms is mandatory.
• Having a laundry room (Landry) and a motor room is mandatory.
• Having a meeting hall with a capacity of at least 50 people is mandatory.
• If the hotel has more than two floors, an elevator is required.
• Rooms must have proper ventilation, heating, and cooling.
• The minimum restroom area should be 4 square meters.
• The minimum restaurant area should be 50 square meters.
• The minimum lobby area should be 60 square meters.
• The minimum room size should be 14 square meters.
• There should be a minimum of 30 rooms.
